I’m 24 and live in the great state of Kansas. We’re not all farmers here, but we know how to do country.

I tend to go with the flow. I am a good person most of the time, and I care about people. But life wouldn’t be any fun without a little danger. Occasionally I am called a bitch, but I chalk it up to being a strong, stubborn woman and other people not being able to handle it. I don’t have some uncontrollable desire to impress people.

Sometimes I tend to be emotional, and this blog is usually my outlet for that. I have a bad habit of being one of those bottie-it-up type of people. Forgive me for any crybaby posts.

Reading is my favorite hobby, when I can find the time to, and photography is a close runner up. It’s wonderful to see the world through the eye of a lens sometimes. Writing is a passion. I love putting words on paper. I once wanted to be a great novelist, until I realized I wasn’t very good at it. So I switched my focus to media, and went to school for media writing/publishing and public relations instead. I graduated with a BA in May 2009.

“Why the wheelchair?” you ask. Car wreck. 2003. Broken neck and fucked spinal cord. Paralysis. Even as much as I hate this injury, it has also given me more strength and opportunities than I ever could have imagined. I have met people, gone places, and done things that I never would have if I had not been in that car wreck, so for that, I am thankful.

All in all, my life is pretty terrific. I am surrounded by great people, and if you read often enough, you’ll probably get to know them too.
